“Empower Yourself; Inspire Your Family”

Research Mama was founded on the desire to help others

Research Mama was founded on the desire to help families find answers to behavioral changes; solutions for symptom management of behavioral and auto-immune disorders; and resources for living with a behavioral, mental health, or auto-immune disorder including food and environment management.

The Founder has a child who started to exhibit odd behavioral changes that progressed rapidly; a child who rarely had temper tantrums as a toddler developed sudden behavioral changes as a school-age child with constant outbursts (or observed as “reactions” to unknown stimuli). Numerous nights were spent researching the internet trying to uncover answers as to what was happening to her child.
Finally, a blog talking about the effects corn products had on a young boy sent Research Mama on a course to find answers. Along the way, she uncovered numerous issues where food products and environmental effects can potentially affect behavior and health: this website strives to help other families find answers, and offer insight about symptom management.

Knowledge is Power

Research Mama has been researching topics since studying science and business at U.C.L.A. which taught her the skill set to look beyond the obvious and dig deep for answers. These skills were utilized to delve deeply into topics, filtering out questionable comments and theories; focusing on those topics that provide a moderation of scientific support but may not yet be mainstream. She also is astute at connecting the dots between different research groups to provide perceptive summaries.
